Heather North, iconic voice of Daphne Blake from Hanna-Barbera’s Scooby-Doo, has passed away at age 71.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, North died November 30 after a long battle with an undisclosed illness. Her partner, soap opera producer H. Wesley Kenney, died in 2015. The two met while working on Days of Our Lives in the ’70s.

North was also seen in Disney’s The Barefoot Executive opposite Kurt Russell.

In 1970, North’s Daphne made her debut on CBS. She went on to voice Daphne in The New Scooby-Doo Movies, and continued to play the redhead until 2003.

North is also known for appearances on Gidget, Mr. Novak, and The Monkees.
